The Writing Center began as a non-credit course at TC in February 2008. In this course, we critically discussed and analyzed a variety of texts related to (1) Historical Perspectives and (2) Theoretical Foundations of Writing Centers. From this basis, we moved towards (3) Practical Considerations, and embarked upon our overall objective of establishing TC Tokyo's first Writing Center.
The Writing Center will be closed between December 24, 2011 and January 2, 2012. Operations will resume on January 7, 2012. Also, the TC Community & Alumni Group Meeting will be held at TC on Saturday, Jan. 7th at 1pm.
