Introduction
In order to allow TESOL MA students' MA Exam experience to better reflect their course of study in the program, the TESOL MA Program requires that all students submit an MA Essay, referred to as The MA Essay.
Students should schedule themselves to prepare the essays when they are approximately half-way through the program (on completion of 18 credits of coursework).
MA Essay Description
This 12-15 page paper will be a literature review of the topic area concerned with the student's MA Project topic. It will be an extended and more in-depth version of the section of the MA Project referred to as the 'Literature Review.'

The final submission deadlines you need to follow for submitting the MA Essay for Graduation are given below:
The paper will be read and assessed, and awarded a PASS or RE-WRITE. If you are requested to re-write you will be asked to make the changes and submit the paper either within 3 weeks, or by the next deadline for graduation.
